A synthetic mating disruption pheromone for the disorientation of the male moths of the False codling moth (FCM), Thaumatotibia leucotreta, thereby preventing them from tracing female moths for mating; for use in avocados, citrus orchards, litchis, tree nuts (including almonds, cashews, chestnuts, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, coconuts, brazil nuts and pine nuts), pomegranates, stone fruit [including apricots, cherries (sweet and sour), nectarines, peaches, plums, prunes], table and wine grapes.
